Haryana Agricultural University organizes online professional training for mushroom production: La Tribune India

Hisar: Saina Nehwal Institute of Agricultural Technology, Training and Education of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (HAU) Hisar held an online professional training for mushroom production which ended here on Monday. No less than 41 trainees from Haryana, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and Punjab participated in the training. Dr Ashok Kumar Godara, co-director (training) of the institute, said that the online and offline training will be organized by the institute in October according to the request of the trainees. He said the mushroom was a balanced diet in which protein, vitamins, minerals, salts, amino acids, etc. were found in abundance.

Weekly group discussion series

Hisar: Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology Guru Jambheshwar Training and Placement Unit speakathon speakathon club, Hisar has launched a new program namely “Weekly Group Discussion Series”. As part of this program, small groups of 8-10 students will be formed in each class by club volunteers and each week on Thursday an online group discussion will be conducted in these groups on the topic given by the club. . Vice Chancellor Prof Baldev Raj Kamboj and Registrar Dr Avnesh Verma congratulated the club for launching this special program for the preparation of university students.

Self-help group training

Hisar: The College of Dairy Science and Technology at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lala Lajpat Rai on Monday launched a five-day “self-help group” training program for women on “value-added products.” This training program is sponsored by the National Commission for Women of the Indian government. The Haryana State Rural Livelihood Mission is cooperating in this regard. The main guest of this program was the President of the National Commission for Women, Rekha Sharma. She inaugurated this training through digital media. Vice-Chancellor Dr Gurdial Singh honored the guest of honor with a memento.

Faculty Development Program

Hisar: A six-day ‘Information and Cybersecurity’ Faculty Development Program (FDP) sponsored by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar Tuesday. Rakesh Kumar Arya, IGP, Hisar Range was the main guest of the inaugural session. No less than 132 participants from across the country are participating in this FDP, where 16 eminent speakers from various backgrounds and industry will give their lectures. In total, 18 sessions divided into theories and practical sessions will be organized to familiarize participants with various aspects of cybersecurity, ethical hacking and cybercrime.

52 years of NSS at university

Kurukshetra: The Vice-Chancellor of Kurukshetra University, Professor Som Nath Sachdeva, said that the aim of the National Service Scheme (NSS) is to combine education and service. The NSS is a symbol of glorious social service. He was speaking as the main guest at the inaugural session of a program organized by the National Service Planning Unit of Kurukshetra University after 52 years of NSS. Previously, KU VC also opened the exhibition organized by NSS program officials from various colleges at the KU Community Center. On this occasion, Professor Som Nath honored Madan Mohan Chhabra, Honorary Secretary of the Kurukshetra Development Board with a shawl and a souvenir.

Grievance system

Faridabad: Prof. Arvind Kumar Chawla, Former Vice Chancellor of Kurukshetra University and currently Mediator of JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad reviewed the university student complaints system. He called on officials to further simplify the mechanism for prompt resolution of student grievances.
