Kenya Moore has faced its fair share of ups and downs over the years, including her recent divorce from Marc Daly, with whom she shares her 2-year-old daughter, Brooklyn Doris Daly. Now, The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom reveals how to be a part of season 30 of Dancing with the stars helps it bounce back to become “fabulous with the wind”.
“In a way, this week is really my go-out party,” Kenya captioned a recent Instagram post. “Being separated for the past 2 years and going through a public divorce throughout Covid really made me come out and made me feel unwanted or sexy.”
“Turning 50 was a rebirth for me,” she added. “I have decided to take charge of my life… to be the strong woman I want to be for myself and my daughter.
Kenya has already shown him love Dancing with the stars partner, Brandon Armstrong, and recently expressed gratitude for being part of the dance competition in another Instagram post. She thanked her fellow Housewives with a special nod to Kandi Burruss, all the fans and Andy Cohen for their support.
“Thank you #teamtwirl, all [Bravo] The housewives and their fan base for making us dance and follow the # 1 trend every week! ”Kenya wrote in the caption.“ Kandi you are the best! Andy, thanks for all the encouragement and cheers! “
Kenya isn’t the only real housewife to appear on Dancing with the stars. She joins the ranks of more than a few “women who have competed to win the Mirrorball Trophy over the years, including Lisa Vanderpump, Nene Leakes, Erika Girardi, Lisa Rinna and Kim Zolciak-Biermann.”
