News | City of Santa Clara

Heavier than normal traffic is expected September 17-18 on Kiely Boulevard, Benton Street and Homestead Road following the Santa Clara Art and Wine Festival.

The festival attracts the talents of regional artists, entertainers and winegrowers. For the inhabitants, this event is a kind of homecoming. Residents gather and volunteer to benefit local community organizations, while meeting friends, neighbors and former classmates. This is the wellness event par excellence!

Make sure you have a fun and safe time, don’t drink or drive, and plan accordingly – get dropped off and picked up at Central Park, appoint a driver from the people you come with, use a ride-hailing service to your transportation needs or cycle to the park. A free Bike Watch will be available from a local service organization. Free and paid parking is also available in and around Central Park.

Stay hydrated! Festival-goers are also encouraged to drink water, even if they are not thirsty.

If you see something, say something! We ask members of our community to remain aware of their surroundings. Reporting suspicious activity, circumstances or individuals can prevent a crime, minimize victimization, save a life and improve the overall quality of life. Dial 9-1-1 in an emergency or dial (408) 615-5580 for non-emergency situations.

Full event information is available from the Parks and Recreation Department online or download the festival app.
